The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.Is. 9:1, 2

 Speaks in parables: I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.Ps. 78:2–4 
  All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables: I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. A prophet :The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken. Deut. 18:15

To heal the broken-hearted: The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. Is. 61:1, 2
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.Luke 4:18, 19 

Rejected by His own people,the Jews:   He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Is. 53:3

 Priest after order of Melchizedek: The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. Ps. 110:4

Silent to accusations:   He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Is. 53:7
 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marveled. Mark 15:4, 5 

Spat upon and smitten:  I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. Is. 50:6

Hated without reason:  Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. Ps. 35:19

Vicarious sacrifice: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Is. 53:5
